October 2012

On the 1st October 2012, we welcomed Mrs Andrea Müller to the company as a new planner.

After her studies, where she specialised in nano-filtration and reverse osmosis, she spent three years working specifically in an engineering office expanding her knowledge in the area of water treatment techniques. Her appointment will reinforce our planning department, and enable us to continue with our objectives and goals, supporting the needs of our customers and colleagues; so on behalf of all of us at H2U we wish her a successful start, and very much look forward to working with her in the future.

July 2012

For the first time since founding the company, H2U has open orders up to one year. This success will help support the development of H2U, and confirms that the market has confidence in our work and abilities. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers and partners for helping us achieve this milestone. This enables us to expand and fulfill our business idea.

June 2012

H2U has been running a pilot plant of its own for four weeks now.

We are testing the behavior of an ultrafiltration membrane for the later dimension of the plant, the operational reliability, and the profitability for the treatment of filter backwash water. This filter backwash water comes from a drinking water treatment plant based on dam water. TZW Dresden (a German water technology centre) is in charge of the scientific support. The plant steering is operated by remote connection so that the plant functions can be easily modified and controlled. The ownership of a pilot plant means a further landmark for H2U, for it enables our staff to improve their practical knowledge on ultrafiltration and to extend their services towards water suppliers.

February 2012

We are pleased to inform you that our construction team has been strengthened by a new employee since 1st February 2012.

We welcome Mrs. Alexandra Koran!

November 2011

H2U has been in the market for three years now!

During this period of time, we have achieved a lot. For instance, we are currently planning the 3rd Low Pressure Reverse Osmosis for a softening watertreatment plant with a capacity of 200 m³/h.

July 2011

Revitalisation of the drinking water reservoir "Ohler Kirchweg"

The revitalisation of the drinking water reservoir "Ohler Kirchweg", volume: 7500 m³ water, owned by NEW Netz GmbH Mönchengladbach and planned as well as supervised by H2U is successfully completed.

May 2011

H2U aqua.plan.Ing-GmbH has launched a branch office in Switzerland only 30 months after foundation. Our Swiss office is located in the canton Lucerne.

Our branch office in Switzerland offers complete design and engineering services of intricate water treatment plants. What does that mean in detail? Civil construction, statics, process technology and electrical equipment (including automation, SCADA, switch gears,) elaborated within one team.
The creation of our Switzerland branch is a logical consequence of our strategy to expand our activities to other parts of Europe. Currently H2U is working in Luxembourg as well as in Sweden. Promising acquisitions are running in several European countries.

March 2011

On March 11th, 2011, the first cut of spade took place.

For SWK AQUA GmbH in Krefeld H2U is planning the extension of the water treatment plant Gladbacher Straße by installing a rapid decarbonisation plant (capacity: 1.600 m³/h) and the new construction of the water treatment plant In der Elt (aeration, rapid decarbonisation, filtration of turbidity substances, drinking water pumping station; capacity: 1.400 m³/h) including a drinking water tank (volume: 6.000 m³).

October 2010

In the area of water treatment planning, we have extended our staff by a female employee

and so we cordially welcome Mrs Anke Syttkus in our team as of October 1, 2010. Mrs Syttkus successfully graduated with a diploma (focused on urban water management)as a structural engineer at the Fachhochschule Aachen, Germany, in June 2008. In her degree dissertation, Mrs Syttkus concentrated on the piloting of an ultrafiltration plant. During the past two years, Mrs Syttkus was responsible for the planning of waste water networks, among other things in Senegal. When working for H2U she will be able to follow up to the topic of her degree dissertation by co-planning the waterworks Ruhrtal of Stadtwerke Menden (municipality Menden, Germany). We are looking forward very much to strengthen our team by Mrs Sytkuss' presence (and at the same time reduce our staff's average age!).

August 2010

We welcome our first apprentice at H2U.

Lars Hericks starts a cooperative Bachelor of Engineering studies at 1st August 2010. Parallel to his studies he passes an apprenticeship for structural draughtsman for four semesters.

Only 16 months after formation H2U has been certified by DIN EN ISO 9001:2008!

Error prevention, traceability of what we have elaborated, clear documentation it is nothing new to us. We work according to high standards we set ourselves, driven by our own motivation with the objective of delivering high quality results. Furthermore, we have started offering the service of electrical net analyses with our own equipment.
